Located in the Sumners area, on the outskirts of Harlow, you will find The Herald. This is a McMullens pub, providing a real friendly atmosphere and despite opening
around 1980, the 'lounge bar' manages to incorporate loads of ‘olde world charm'.
The wooden beams and traditional furnishings are characteristics of much older establishments, all of which adds to The Herald's comfort and cosy hospitality.
The Public bar, also known as the ‘Sporting Bar’ is also very popular, having a pool table, sky sports and widescreen TV, providing coverage for all the major sports events and football matches. (More info on News & Events page)
Behind the bar you will find Jason & Lisa, landlord & landlady. Together with their friendly staff, they offer a small selection of bar meals and snacks.

Being the only Pub in the Katherines & Sumners areas of the town, this ‘local’ has it’s fair share of ‘regulars’ & provides a focal point for many of the local community.
